EXECUTIVE AND THE PEOPLE

The strings that bind him are heavy but loose

For all to see his use

What can he accept? What can he defuse?

The people or the politicians, who will be refused?

This is the dilemma of a king sitting on pins

Whose cabinet are king pins

Pinning him to puppet strings

Blaming his confused state as lack of will

When the king is only a puppet

What can he do? But be a prophet

To others who can be called on their efforts

After he has been exposed to corruption experts

What corrupt men smiling as leaders

Dealing with any that comes with erasers

To exorcise from their boxers

To such a man! Is an enemy meant for the hangers!
