PEACE IN STRIFE

I feel two walls
Pressures and insults
Warriors and mascot
Lovers and strange hair cuts

Peasants and pheasants
Instance and incessant
Bandits and oppresants
Gangsters and militants

Which way my country men?
Who sees this mien?
Allegiance with fiends
Hubris with friends

The tumoils called 'our' homes
While the horrors of strife dig up tombs
Ethnic jurisdiction dig catacombs
No ribbons attached to our combs

Their first kick is with the poor
The rich then gather with no voice
When they are touched all ,holy voices pour!
Grieve on the first kick! How poor!

Nnena can no longer trust Abe!
Mustapha cannot tolerate Ade
Anger and bitterness has never asked kilode?
Effiong is wary of osadebe

Burgeon traps and illiterate scars
Even education hasn't touched their scalps!
Their certificates not better than foolscap!
They declare you fools need a new hair style

People these days fear your name
Before they meet you
You religion and then they judge you
Your region and then they spite you
Who shall serve us from this issues?

The educated illiterates are the worst
Half information make them hurt
They transfer their bitterness with their hearts
Filled with good while doing pleasurable ill

If education never came!
How evil could we have been
If after all the enlightenment!
We behave worst than bees!

On a cold evening I saw the lights
The days ahead isn't lit with light
Everyone should prepare for the dark
The darkest of nights will need a sort of light
