DECEIT....HARDEST IN LOVE...

What man desires is like the look of a well powered face
Well presented …badly packaged..
Same as beautiful women…but bad wives
Why should man be deceived with magic and charm?

Fantasies and imagery have been the concept of deception
Man loves a finished production
And hates the workable, painstaking revelations
That follows a well tailored manipulation

Why is the heart flummoxed in a deep rot in the soul?
Why do we cry in deception and not lies?
Why do we sway in infatuation and not love?
Why do we follow politicians and not pastors?

Facials are rabid imaginations of unforeseen disasters
Clouded in deep dark mist of deception
But shines like a knight on a new armour
Beware for all that glitters and flutters are not made of gold

THE DREAM....NEVER FORGET...

Some people are unknown answers
To unknown people’s dreams
Silent reticent givers of many unsuspecting dreams
Yet binding, unfolding the secret of things to be

Here I am, standing unknowingly
Whose dreams I crush not knowing
Just because I’m making a showing
And time to fulfill people’s dreams is passing

We as humans should be very careful
For we don’t know when we would be needful
Of those we see today as handfuls
They may be tomorrow’s mouthfuls

Looking down on people today
Is crushing your progress of the day
When insults stings your tongue…don’t dare
You may be drying your sun before the air.

MY PHONE

I hope the twittering of my phone would just flip
My anger is not the twit twit pring!
It’s the obnoxious deliberate disturbance
Of this friend, yet an enemy to the public

They hate him to air his views to my alert
Even though we all have this accused companion as friends
But why would mine be accused of this onomatopoeic resonance?
That frightened rather than alerting them?

If eyes could kill, then I could have holes in my pocket
For all their coal hot eyes went there
Sneering with blood thirsty eyes
To rip me off my companion and wife

I’ve always told you phone and foe
To keep shut in public, yet you never know
How I wish you were a man also
So that you eat this shame too

NIGERIA MY BELOVED

I cry my beloved
You are no more loved
As was thought as odd
Which I didn’t understand your urge

Which of your son’s blood spilled?
From guns of the thrilled
Been made to have a bad seal
That can never be broken with skill

Don’t cry my beloved
Because our fight
Which was never right
Will be made light

I pray for you my beloved
As such; never to hear you cough
Don’t be summoned into a court hall
Because that is when you have lost all

 Wipe your tears my beloved
There is light, so there is still hope
We are tired of being independent like the ape
One day we must wear this grandiose robe

Be comforted by beloved
Because you can’t lose in all
Due to that great fall
When we tried…playing different balls

Be reminded my beloved
One day all your efforts will be crowned with cheers
See yourself sitting on a golden chair
That is not made of air

Be renewed my pride, my love, my country
For you’re a giant in different strides
Who are all kings…prowling with stripes
For in them, your glory will shine in pride
